A number of factors have led to us taking the difficult decision not to implement the 2026 NHS Wales Reforms in EXACT. The changes proposed are extensive and the timeframe to implement them is small. As a result, it is only possible for us to develop the changes in one of the practice management systems we provide.
Because we believe in the future of our cloud product, we have chosen to exclusively develop the reforms in Dentally.
We are offering Dentally free from upfront costs for Welsh NHS practices that sign to make the switch by December 31st (terms apply).
We believe that Dentally is the future, and we encourage all of our valued customers to consider the benefits of moving to a cloud system - however, we are still supporting EXACT, and have no plans to sunset EXACT at this time.
NHS Support is still available in all other UK Regions, and EXACT will continue to be supported in all regions for the foreseeable future.
Being a cloud software, all that is required to run dentally on a computer or laptop is a web browser - like Google Chrome.
Invariably, this means that an internet connection is necessary for Dentally to operate reliably.
That being said, you may be surprised at how little Dentally needs to run: check if your system can run Dentally.
Reporting in Dentally is simple, and quick.
All practice reports are presented in a clear, easy to understand format whether you want a snapshot or need to dive into the data. Whether you're looking to check the status of your treatment plans or review practitioner activity, the data you need is quick and easy to access and highly accurate.

As part of our free upgrade to Dentally offer, we are including training on our state-of-the-art e-learning platform, followed by a one-day virtual training session.

Yes, we are only stopping support for NHS in Wales, so if you decide to offer only independent treatment options, then EXACT is still supported.
